Everyone worries from time to time. There are also chronic worriers, who constantly worry about the negative realities that may occur. Zodiac signs that usually do not have problems worrying are Earth signs, such as Taurus and Virgo. This is because they are easily focused on the present, the now. They do not heavily concern themselves with what happened in the past or what will manifest in the future. Capricorns are also Earth signs, but they seem to break the barrier by worrying and causing anxiety. Other signs that have a tendency to be focused on the present/past are the Water signs, including Pisces, Scorpio, and Cancer. They are usually in their heads, and have trouble focusing on the now.
Why Do We Worry?
We worry because we try to prepare for and prevent the worst-case scenario regarding a situation. We believe that by thinking and considering these things, that we can prevent them from occurring in our reality.
The Problem With Worrying
We live in an attraction-based universe. If we are constantly worrying and thinking negative thoughts in our head, all we do is bring more worry and negative and fearful outcomes. We are not focused on the best-case scenario. We do not focus on positive outcomes, because they may seem “more unlikely” based on past experience.
Our subconscious is programmed with learned behaviors that we have been absorbing all of our lives. These behaviors may be difficult to override, especially if we have been performing them for so long.
How to Stop
Instead of worrying about the negative and outcomes based in fear and worry, we need to focus our intent on what we do want. By thinking, “I’m going to be late for work.” the universe moves time and space in order to give us what we are heavily focused on so we actually end up being late for work.
We need to focus on what we do want to happen in our reality. If we decide, “I am going to be on time for work.” then the universe again rearranges time and space in order to give us what we desire.
The first step really begins with awareness. Once we become aware of this, we can actively change our thought patterns once the behavior is recognized. If you find yourself worrying about a certain outcome based on previous experience, you must think about what you desire to happen, and feel it being so. Everything in our reality is based on our perception. If we learn to reprogram our thoughts, then we can change the outcomes as they begin to manifest in our lives.
Once you change your thoughts, you will change your life.
Chronic worrying does not serve you, and it is not who you are. You are the only one who has the power to change it and reclaim your life.
